Calling all theatre lovers! The Uxbridge Historical Centre is hosting the talented and local company, Theatre on the Ridge, for two Stage Reading events at the museum.
What’s a stage reading, you may ask? Unlike an ordinary production, the stage reading is like a live radio play. The theme of the first of these reading events will be Victorian one-act plays, held in the Fifth Line Church on the UHC grounds. It will only be performed once!

Farm to train presents it's fourth annual fundraising event to benefit the Loaves and Fishes Food Bank. Aboard the York Durham Railway. 4-Course, locally inspired meal by Urban Pantry using farm fresh ingredients. Meal includes choice of one beer or cider.

Take a trip through time seated in one of our heated/air conditioned heritage coaches from the 1950's and enjoy our doors-open baggage car. This festival brings to life the wizarding world filled with interactive shows, potions classes, horcrux maze, magic shows, and workshops on how to defend yourself against the Dark Enemy. That skill will be particularly useful as the fun continues for premium ticket holders on the Hallows Express, where a journey to GOODWOODORA Prison reveals two evil wizards are hatching an escape plan. The First Evening Halloween Dinner Train (This is an 19+ event) Adult Only Event. Come dressed in your favorite Halloween costume. Be ready to have our “spooky conductors, and servers greet you a Spooktacular welcome”. Come ready to hear our eerie tale aboard our 2 hour train ride, dance the night away in our doors open ghostly baggage car with our live DJ, and enjoy spookish alcoholic beverages.
