Santa Sights & Holiday Lights!
Content sponsored by York Durham Headwaters
The holidays are officially in full swing here in Uxbridge, and there is an extra-special experience for the kiddos on December 9 & 10. Start you day with a trip on the York-Durham Heritage Railway Santa Train, with decorated rail cars and on-board entertainment. The best part is Santa, who will visit each child at their seat.
After de-boarding the train, grab your Santa Passport which takes you to five downtown stores for a game of I-Spy. After each item spotted, your kids can retrieve a special gift from each of the stores. (Note: Santa Passports are only available with the purchase of a ticket on the Santa Train).
By now, everyone’s tummy will be rumbling, which calls for a meal at Boston Pizza Uxbridge, and their special Home for the Holidays menu!
As the sun goes down, the grand finale of the day is just down the road at Elgin Park, where a Fantasy of Lights awaits. Wander through the twinkling 140-acre park with fantastic displays of holiday lights while sipping on hot chocolate. This free event runs until January 1!
