Treat your Dad to the York Durham Heritage Railway Father’s Day special, where Dads ride for half price when accompanied by a fare-paying child. The train departs the Uxbridge Station at 10:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. and from the Stouffville Station at noon.

Head to Goodwood Kartways and race Dad down the track in a go-kart.  Whether you’re a first time driver or a veteran, an adventure is waiting.

Once you emerge from the trails, quench your thirst at The Second Wedge Brewing Co, alongside a game of beer garden jenga and a special brewery tour just for Dad. If beer isn’t your Dad’s thing, Nexus Coffee Company has specialty coffee and crowd-pleasing gelato.

All these activities call for a hearty meal. Sit down to brunch at Navarra’s Eatery where kids get free cotton candy from 11am until 2pm or, your Dad will love a meal at the Tin Mill restaurant, a renovated turn-of-the-century flour mill, where there’s always something special for Father’s Day. Dine out on the patio, take in the beautiful country air, and toast to the amazing men in your life.
