Barton Trail circles the Barton Farms community and passes by Herrema Fields, with its playground and covered picnic area, through residential streets, along woodland sections and by a pond.
Travel through dense wooded area, Elgin Park, and through the Estates of Wooden Sticks housing development. A modified “accessibility route” is suited to all ages and abilities.
Historic Trail winds through the oldest parts of Uxbridge, woodlands, streams, and wildlife. Six historical information plaques use historical photos and brief texts to tell about Uxbridge in “the old days”.
Elgin Park is a central hub with easy access to the town trails, a perfect picnic spot with public washrooms, a playground, bandshell, and home to many events.
