Travel through dense wooded area, Elgin Park, and through the Estates of Wooden Sticks housing development. A modified “accessibility route” is suited to all ages and abilities.
Historic Trail winds through the oldest parts of Uxbridge, woodlands, streams, and wildlife. Six historical information plaques use historical photos and brief texts to tell about Uxbridge in “the old days”.
140 acres of rolling Elgin Park features a circular asphalt trail that has public washrooms, two playgrounds, a baseball field, Uxbridge horsemen club arena, Legion's club, town stage for events, woodlands, wetlands and ponds, criss-crossed by 6 km of marked trails.
