Uxbridge Holiday Trail

Enjoy Festive Windows, Sounds of the Season, “Tastings and Treats for a Toonie”, and a wave from Santa and Mrs. Claus, as you shop your way along the Uxbridge Holiday Trail.

Find a parking spot close to Brock Street and then pick up a map at Sugar FX to start your journey through downtown Uxbridge where each shop window has been decorated to tell a Holiday story! Along the way enjoy “Tastings and Treats” for a Toonie, hear sounds of the season on the street with live music through the glass at Low’s Furniture (sponsored by Castool Tooling Systems), warm up by the fire (sponsored by Cobra Metal) and catch a wave from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Come early to enjoy a meal at one of our local eateries. On December 17 and 18, see “The Nutcracker” and “A Canadian Woodland Christmas” stories come to life in the windows of The Bridge Social and Blue Heron Books with little dancers from the Uxbridge Dance Academy and you can also hear hear award-winning author/illustrator Werner Zimmerman doing a live storybook reading of We Wish You a Merry Christmas!

Couple your visit with a drive through to the Optimist Fantasy of Lights or book tickets for a ride on the North Pole Light-up Express train hosted by York Durham Heritage Railway.  If you can make it a full day, come early to explore the Holiday Market at Pefferlaw Creek Farms, and stay the night at one of our local bed and breakfasts.

Don’t forget to post your selfies to #HolidayTrailUxbridge.
