Located in a rich agricultural area, Uxbridge is an ideal spot to enjoy local flavours!  From farm-fresh produce and meats, to locally-made beer, cider, tea, honey, maple syrup, and chocolate, you can try it all at the stops along our Local Food and Beverage Trails.

Start your day at the Annina’s Bakeshop, or if it’s Sunday, visit our award-winning Farmer’s Market, where you can load your fridge with everything fresh from the farm.  Embark on an outdoor adventure at a location on the “Farm Trail“, all offering farm stores and some with outdoor farm adventures for the kids.

If your day allows, you will love the “Beer & Cider Trail“, which will take you on a journey to our local cideries; Slabtown Cider and Banjo Cider, as well as the Second Wedge Brewing Co., where you can sit on the patio and enjoy a tasting, or just take a bottle home for later.

Make sure you have time to explore Uxbridge’s downtown which is the perfect host to local food enthusiasts with many stops along our “Culinary Trail”.  This includes the Passionate Cook’s Essentials, where you can pick-up locally-made chocolate and olive oil, as well as The Bridge Social, known for its signature smoothies and locally-grown Foggy River tea.  And when your appetite calls, answer it with locally-inspired menu items at Urban Pantry.  To top of your perfectly delicious day, enjoy a slice of homemade carrot cake from TIN Restaurant and make plans to visit more spots along the Culinary Trail to taste all that Uxbridge has to offer.
