Thomas will be chugging his way into the GTA for the Steam Team Tour for two weekends only - August 9 -11 and 16-18, 2019. Take a 25-minute train ride on-board our heritage train pulled by Thomas and meet Sir Topham Hatt!
There are lots of activities for the kids to enjoy including temporary tattoos, face painting, kiddie train ride, Zoo to You, obstacle course and Thomas replica ride-on trains. Check out the interactive entertainment stage with shows by a juggler, magician and musicians.

Cost: $25.00 + HST per person

This final summer Fibre Workshop led by Len de Graaf invites those interested in the process of transforming wool fibre into amazing, colourful creations. Participants will be led through two colourful needle-felting projects. The first will teach participants two-dimensional felting, while the second will be focused on sculpting using three-dimensional needle-felting. Open to all skill levels!

Warren Gallagher, member of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada and of the Durham Region Astronomical Association is coming to help us see the stars!
He will provide an out-of-this-world discussion on solar systems, show you how to use telescopes, and answer astronomy-related questions. All ages are welcome to this event – bring the whole family for a chance to see Jupiter with its many moons, or Saturn and its beautiful rings!

Farmer Jim and Farmer Leslie are loving their role as Grandparents. It’s that special relationship we have with grandchildren that we would like to celebrate.

Grandparents, bring your grandchildren for a day on the farm and enjoy some old time favorite activities that are fun for all ages. Take a wagon ride, walk our Forest Trail, play in our Barnyard Adventure area, have a sneak preview of our corn maze, visit our farm animals and play games you used to play as a child.
