Uxbridge Celebration of the Arts

For the 33rd year, Uxbridge Celebration Of The Arts highlights Canadian artists for three weeks in the fall with over five events.

Join us this year for the following events:

Art on the Fringe

September 16th – 17th 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Uxbridge Historical Centre. 

This year’s Uxbridge Art on the Fringe Festival is back. We may be different this year but we are planning for a great event with many artists displaying their work which includes paintings, ceramics, fiber arts, jewelry, furniture and more. This is a wonderful collection of creative artworks.

As well as browsing and shopping with the artists, you can also purchase refreshments, listen to live music from a variety of local Musicians and enjoy the wonderful scenery and heritage buildings

Uxbridge Studio Tour

September 16th from 10:00am-6:00pm & September 17th from 10:00am-5:00pm at various locations.

Art. Food. Drink. Adventures. Uxbridge is the place to be the third weekend of every September.

Experience the beauty of North Durham as you enjoy a self-guided tour of our unique artists’ studios tucked into forests, surrounded by farmland and nestled in the heart of historic downtown Uxbridge.

Trail Mix 2023

September 23rd  from 12:00-2:00pm at Elgin Park. 

A busker style showcase of art and music through the trails of Elgin Park.

Books and Authors 2023

September 27th at 7 pm at the Uxbridge Music Hall

Blue Heron Books has been the host of the Celebration of the Arts Books and Authors night for more than 30 years. The program is 4 authors, interviewed one at a time, broken by an intermission.

This year it’s Alissa York, CS Richardson, Holly Hogan, and Michael Crummey, interviewed by Ted Barris.
