The Brookdale Trail is a town trail that runs parallel to the Trans Canada Trail system. This trail takes the user off road and into the forest on a picturesque journey. It is excellent for snowshoeing, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing because the footing is packed down. The trail is hilly with nice views, a bridge, and boardwalk crossings along the way. Be prepared for a higher level of difficulty with some steep climbs and please note that the section off Brookdale Road is often used by horseback riders.
